As I was unable to leave feedback to inform and warn other Ebay members regarding an iPhone 6S Plus I purchased from this incompetent, unprofessional, and theiving seller <Removed>, I felt it necessary to inform you all on here to stay well clear! Apologies for the long read but this is the amount of **bleep** I had to go through with her!
The seller accepted my offer of $1,180 to purchase a brand new iPhone 6S Plus on 16th July 2016 with free postage which I paid for straight away through Paypal. (She sells quite a few iPhones so just be aware of the name if your shopping for a new one).
'Apparently' the item was sent to me but because I was not home the postman returned it straight back to the seller which is quite unheard of in my opinion for the postman/office to do this without even leaving me a note to pick the item up from the post office at a later time. However, I had no idea about this at the time until 2-3 weeks later when I messaged the seller asking where the item was? She said it had already been sent but apparently I provided the wrong adress which was a 'vacant house' with noone living in it in her opinion, yet details of where the item was sent stated my correct address. I politely asked her to resend the item even though I did not appreciate the fact she had had my purchase in her possession since its return for that long without even bothering to message me. She was quite happy to just keep my $1,180 with no further action needed!
Upon my request to her to resend the item, she asked me for yet more money for the phone or else she would not send it which is blackmail in my eyes. Then she proceeded to have a good old whinge and complain about the money she was missing out on since I am getting a bargain with the phone and its not fair on her even though she was the one that accepted my offer for the phone which was only about $40 less than her 'Buy Now' price. I told her that if that was the case she shouldn't have gone ahead and accepted my offer then, so getting her knickers in a twist about it was not my problem! She then proceeded to ignore every single message I sent her through July and August. I then accused her of being a theif and stated to her the least she could do is refund my money if she is not going to bother to send me the item or I will be taking the matter further.
I finally got a response from her on 14/08/16 which is over a month after I paid for the item! This was her exact response: "I told you I am interstate. I'm not flying back just to send your phone! If you want a refund just ask for it and you will get it minus the shipping and handling fee or you can take it as far as you want with whoever you want. If you'd like to be polite about it I'm back in Brisbane on the 24th and I can send it then!"
At no point did this seller tell me she was interstate which is irrevelant and besides the point anyway considering I had already asked for a refund and she had refused to respond until a month later when I threatened further action. I waited another 2-3 weeks after the 24th in which she stated she would resend the iPhone but didn't bother! I then opened a dispute with Ebay who I am very dissapointed to say did not assist in any way and ended up emailing me to say I was not eligible for a refund. So in other words when you pay $1,180 for an item that you have not recieved through Ebay, you wont get your money back or any justifiable reason why this is the case.
I then took the matter further with Paypal instead who have finally sent me an email today confirming my refund regardless of the seller's funds in her Paypal account LOL. It is now the 15th September so it has taken me 2 months of stress to get my money back.
STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS SELLER. Noone should have to go through this amount of hassle when purchasing stuff on Ebay. If you look up this seller and refer to her negative feedback from other buyers, you will see that I am not her first victim!

First off glad you finally got your money back.
Ebay only allows 30 days MBG so that's why ebay couldn't help you.
PayPal allow 180 days to open a dispute so if you went with PP sooner then you would of had less stress.
I had the same problem with another seller not long ago regarding an iphone but they claimed that they never
received my payment so they never sent the phone whilst paypal had a hold of my money for 30 days until the
process timed out which was very annoying to say the least.
So always go through PP for any disputes and ebay for items not as described.
You're also not allowed to name and shame on discussion boards.

Paragraphs!!! I am glad to hear you knew how to get a refund. I'm assuming you had the postage cost returned too. It's always good to hear when dodgy sellers don't get their own way.
Unfortunately, you can't name and shame on the forums, it is against board policy (for a few reasons), so it won't be long until the moderators remove the names.
Looking at their feedback and stars, why did you buy from them? The stars are atrocious and would have seen me running a mile. Plus, I'd never trust anyone with such low feedback selling high end products. Never in a million years. ALWAYS check feedback before buying. Always.
Hopefully as their feedback and stars are so bad they have dropped to below standard and won't be able to list anything else. Although, sellers like that generally have a way to beat the system.
Glad it worked out for you in the end.

Glad you received your money back, but I'm just curious about the following:
"Apparently' the item was sent to me but because I was not home the postman returned it straight back to the seller which is quite unheard of in my opinion for the postman/office to do this without even leaving me a note to pick the item up from the post office at a later time."
Where did that information come from ????
Did you track your item through Australia Post or did the seller conveniently tell you this ???

I wondered that too which makes me think the seller was telling porkies. I've never heard of anything being immediately returned to seller if someone isn't at home. Usually if no ones home they leave it if a signature isn't required, or it goes back to the PO if it does. There were too many inconsistencies with her messages. First it was a vacant house, then no one was home, then it was immediately returned to sender, then she was interstate. Sounds like she couldn't lie straight in bed. I doubt she ever sent it for whatever reason. Maybe she was hoping to string it out long enough whereby the MBG had expired and hoped the buyer didn't know about PayPal disputes. Either way, her feedback and stars are pretty trashed. Just a shame the OP couldn't add to it and trash it further.

The new iphones cost that much because they are not only a phone but a computer and it makes you dinner as well.
