Has anyone got a solution for a seller that has not sent my goods since the 24/5/2014?

The seller keeps giving me excuses over email and will not refund my money.  They have apparently send a replacement 3 times but it has not arrived.  They will not answer my questions and keep giving excuses.  It is like they are cutting and pasting the same response.

 

I just want my money back.

Never, ever leave it that long again, no matter what a seller says.

 

 

 

Posted it to you 3 times? You and I both know that isn't true, don't we. You hoped it was, but after 5 months, you know they were lying through their teeth.

 

For the future-If your item doesn't arrive within about 35 days from payment, put in a  claim. I would contact a seller after 2 weeks if it had not arrived but if, after 35 days it still had not arrived, I would just go straight into a paypal claim.

 

Don't go contacting them again because if they give you the run around you might be tempted to wait and you can't afford to. Let them fight it out with paypal.

If it does arrive after you put in a claim, well and good, if it doesn't, well, you'll get your money back.

 

You have done your dough, lost your money, left it too long this time, unless by some miracle the bank gives you money back, but don't hoild your breath on that one.

 

But now you'll know for next time-don't mess around.

I may have solved my problem as I found the seller also operated a store on facebook.  I left a string of messages on there wall and have now been promised a refund.  I will beleive it when I see it but if not I will continue to bombard their facebook wall 🙂

They may be able to block your comments from showing to anyone else on facebook though.

 

I don't have a solution but I think it could be unlikely you will get your goods. Why on earth did you let it go for 5 months? If it ever happens again, don't let a seller give you the run around, put in a paypal claim within the month!

From November Paypal are extending the time limit for opening Paypal claims from 45 days to 180 days. Less buyers will get caught out then, with these dodgy sellers (mostly oseas ones)  who keep using delaying tactics on buyers until the 45 days has passed.

Yes hound them of facebook, look for them on twitter and instagram as well. I hate sellers like this it makes the honest sellers fume!!! Also I think it is very poor of the person you contacted at Ebay not to give you proper help, and you had to post on the forum here for help. That is very poor service from Ebay customer support.

 

And like every other person who has replied to you, never ever let a seller delay you from opening a dispute, if you have not received the item by 40 days (if it comes from overseas or even domestically, especially if your waiting for a repost) open a dispute case. You then have given the postie or seller more time and remember to raise it to a claim if you still haven't received it by the date paypal has given you.

 

If you do believe the seller and think it is the Australia Post's issue visit their website and make a complaint to them as well, there is an online form to fill in and they will get back to you.

 

Personally I think this seller has lied to you. But just never ever let a seller convince you not to protect yourself. If it was me I would of rather refunded you, and if you still wanted to purchase the item through me you would be allowed to do so but that way I can reassure you that have your buyer protection and I am an honest seller and worth your time to deal with.
