I bought an adapter to allow my Sodastream to use genuine sodastream glass bottles. It arrived but was incompatible with anything tat Sodastream make. I raised this issue with the seller, after some time I was asked to photograph the item and the mailing package which I did. I heard nothing. I posted feedback to this effect. I contacted the seller again and he agreed to send me a refund. After two weeks the refund had not arrived, I contacted the seller again, who demanded that I change my feedback to "positive" before he would issue the refund. I complained to Ebay using the menu driven and complained that the item did not match the description. I received an automated reply from Ebay saying that there was nothing wrong with the seller's listing according to their AI. To date I have received no refund.

is it within 30 days of receipt? If so, use MBG and lodge an 'item not as described' claim.
Don't correspond with the seller.........

Typical responses from a Chinese seller with rubbish feedback.
As Twyn said open a dispute with the MBG, don't communicate with the seller any more.

You need to stop playing with the seller
You need to open and follow through with the dispute
You need to report the seller for feedback extortion
You need to stop buying from dodgy sellers registered in China who have feedback in the toilet
No use in โcomplaining to eBay through the botโ. That is not opening a dispute, and there is nothing to escalate until you do
