How can you find out who is behind eBay Commerce Australia?

Just got done  by this lot and even PayPal won't refund the amount because they say it was legitimate. I just need the company name and address

Which lot? eBay is 'behind' eBay commerce 

How do you mean you 'got done' ?

What lead yo to contacting PayPal? 

What actually happened?

What does it say the charge was for?

Is it for a purchase?

If so

Other members do not have the name and address of sellers you have bought from

Or

Is it fees for eBay Plus?

Is it fees for Smartycashback

Or something else

Impossible for other members to try to help with no information other than 'you got done'

If you made a purchase on eBay and paid using a credit card at checkout (as opposed to paying via PayPal), the charge may appear on your card statement as "eBay Commerce". Compare the charges on your credit card statement to the transactions in your eBay Purchase History.

You haven’t tracked down eBay’s email. If you want to know why, search eBay help pages for the member to member communication policy.

You haven’t been scammed. Sellers on eBay do not receive payment directly, but rather they are paid through eBay’s in-house payment system (processed by Adyen). When you buy something on eBay, the payment goes to eBay and is then disbursed (less fees) to the seller.

all I wanted was to find out to whom the payment was made, it could be a renewal of a subscription,

How do you mean 'who is behind' it?

eBay is eBay

You would know if you bought something off a seller on eBay, or if you have signed up to something the fees were due for

And if you are saying you did not buy anything, or need to pay a bill for a subscription you signed up for, then you need to report an unathorised transaction to your bank

You have two feedback in the past month, could be either of those, or any of the sellers before that

And other members have no way of knowing if you subscribed to eBay Plus etc etc
