I have received a refund (shows as pending in Paypal) from a seller and he has cancelled the transaction from his end.
No dispute was opened by either of us.
He now has an Ebay message that the buyer (me) needs to accept the cancellation.
I have spent ages trying to find how or where I can accept the cancellation.
I go to the Resolution Centre and it shows that there is one request or case open, but nothing I click on will actually do anything to close it.
Could it be because the refund still shows as pending?
Thanks

Yes, it is because the refund is pending.
You should receive an ebay message with 2 questions.....you have received the refund or you have not received the refund (or words to that effect)
Once you receive the refund you click on that option and the case should close.
