I'm trying to change my currency to Australian dollars, and I can't - every time I click the Contact Customer Support button all I'm given is a US phone number - which doesn't help me a lot from Sydney, Australia. So is there an email address I can use?

Why are you trying to change currency? More info needed. Do you have funds in your PP you want convert? Or are you trying to pay?
PP is in the USA, that is the free number you call (although I thought that their call centre is now in Philippines?). Do not email them, all you get is automated reply.

sounds like you logged into ebay's us site, rather than australia - check if there is an .au after the ebay.com in the web address - if it is not there, it means you are not logged into Australian site.

If you are registered in Australia and logged into the Australian site then your currency should be showing as AU$ unless you have recently changed your country of registration, if that is the case I would call them.
They are open today until about 5pm I think.

I am logged in to Australia, and as most of you suspect I have changed countries recently, but despite changing everything on the website it hasn't kept up, and now I struggle to buy anything from Australian sellers as ebay still has me listed as a UK seller.
Unfortunately phoning the US from Australia is quite an expensive option, surely there is some other way to resolve this?

No, I'm definitely logged into the .au site.

Pj gave you the phone number. Ring them tomorrow.

Anybody can just "press the button" on customer support asking them to ring you which they do so quite quickly so you don't have to ring them if you wish which is sensible of course 'cos it doesn't cost you a red razoo

You need to phone the AUSTRALIAN number that PJ provided as only ebay staff can change your REGION which is what your problem is-you are not able to correct this issue yourself without picking up the phone.

It is a Free Call number and will not cost you anything.
