How do I find out what to do about a seller that almost doubled the price of an item as soon as we r

An item I was watching had a phone number for me to call about location and dimention suitability before I bid on it.

After the call I went back to the item to buy it and it had gone from $2000 to $3900 with no bids.

On calling her again she asked what price I had seen, I said $2000 and she said she would call back tomorrow, during this time the sale ended with no buyer.

On a third phone call I was told they are not selling it now as a friend wanted it.

The item has now been relisted with the $3900 price.

I think this is very bad practise on here and don't know why she can change the price after she has set the minimum she would take for it.

Has anyone else encountered this and if so what was the outcome if any?

unfortunately, (foryou), the Seller of an item owns it until it is sold, and during that period they are allowed to withdraw or change the price as they see fit.

nothing you can do about that.

hi    a seller can change there mind  in fact up to 1 day before it ends can take the item off even wih bids on it
