How do I report misleading sales if the report system is lacking to do so effectively?

Hi guys

I have noticed two different items for sale that have misleading discriptions, and the report system is lacking to report thes effectively.

They give options in drop down menues and no option is adiqite for the situation.

Same goes for trying to contact ebay, It's like they don't want to effectively help potentual buyers.

Ok, as I have sent him the links now, but I had a look at some neg's on his profile and his responses to those makes it look as though I'll have no luck with him this time either 😞

Will give him time to respond, but if nothing by noon, I'll try the report again, crikey.

I had a very similar experience recently.

I noticed something that was advertised and the description was incorrect and only someone who knows a lot about this item would pick it or even know their differences and it will not work in most cases.

I quite politely informed the seller and suggested he change the listing or he could be looking at a negative feedback and this was his reply.......

yeah thats why we have sold over 12,000 items in the last 3 years across all accounts on ebay. Oh and thats why we have had the shop for about 10 years. I dont give a flying **** about negative feedbacks. Oh here is some feedback for you, **** OFF

I tried to report him and the listing and found no way to do so. The best I could do was report his message as Offensive.

Ebay really seem to driving itself into the ground by allowing these traders to trade here.

Oh, dear, I have dealt with sellers like that before, very frustrating! As a seller a buyer can be awful at times too, had a person go my "buy it Now once" I made it clear in the ad that I will not sell to OS members, but she ignored this, and so I tried to let her have it anyway, but then it was "Oh, i can only pay via WU and they are expensive, can you reduce the price?" then when I told he no, and the sale needed to be cancelled as she can't follow through, I got all the crazy spam you can imagine, mainly ones for %#$@ enlargements and Gay porn sites, I think she was not happy with me 😛 never give them your direct email address 😉

OK, the one with the lesser issue turned out to be a mistake, and one of his staff picked it up also. I have apologised to him if my message offended, and I'll admit i should have worded it better, but even then he was very professional about it and how he replied, a very good seller that made a mistake is all, so all go there 🙂 The other one, I'll need to wait a bit to see what happens, the last thing I would want to do is reports someone when it is just a mistake!

OK, got a responce from the other one, in this case there is no mistake, and no reasoning, It's always the other person at fault for some.

I won't report it, couldn't be bothered.
