How do we get refunds for items that haven't been delivered?

I've had no luck when it came to messaging (what I feel was a robot) eBay for the money back guarantee and I was just told the same thing over and over, however, when I go to report the item it will only give me items that I have either just purchased or have already arrived.

I purchased the order back in October 30 2020, and the item arrived in Australia on November 10th 2020. The item has not moved any further. I have messaged them many times since mid-December and I always get the same response - "we will get back to you in a few days after we look into the issue".

Now that I am asking for a refund, they have started to ignore my messages. I have bought items from this seller before and I have not had any issues. Looking on their page, I see that someone has had the same issues that I am having.

I was wondering where I could go from here? I would like to send an email to eBay, and if I have to, I will call them about the issue (though I am not very good at talking to people on the phone).

Provided you paid via PayPal, you have 180 days to open a case for INR.

Log into PayPal and open a case NOW. (You really should not have left it so long)

After this length of time your only option is a payal dispute....Item Not Received.

Do not leave it too long as you only have 6 months from the date of purchase.

Never leave it so long and you definitely don't need to go back and forth with any seller who is deliberately stalling you.

In future, open a case for Item Not Received, within the Ebay time frame - this puts the ball in the sellers court to provide tracking or a refund.

If you have missed that deadline, open a case in PP for the same thing.

No point in sending emails to Ebay or chatting with customer service - they are not the ones at fault here.

Just deal with the seller as outlined through the tools that Ebay gives you.
