Maybe they were non-paying buyers and he's had to re-list.

It does look like he's having issues with non payers or possibly scam bidders and he's having to relist. Once I might not have believed that but recently it took me 3 tries to sell a gold bracelet because they first two winning 'buyers' fought it out at auction and then never contacted me and ignored payment requests until I gave up and relisted.
Maybe this is some kind of attempt at a scam these days, bid on something with a $ value and then hope the seller will accidentally post it before they realise they haven't been paid?

I once sold a large heavier item to a local buyer (it was pick up only) but the comms raised red flags. You know from experience the signals. I made the decision to cancel and relist but this woman wouldn't go away. She sold these herself and was wanting to flip mine for s higher price. I don't have a problem selling to people who onsell, I do it all the time, so long as I trust them. Not the case with her. But anyway she then used another account, quickly knew it was her again, and a third time from another account. She was livid in the end that I wouldn't sell to her. I put the price up eventually just to get rid of her and eventually had to remove the listing and sell it elsewhere. You never really know why sellers do what they do but best not to make assumptions

I don't know, but I'd like what he's been potentially paid over the last 8 weeks. Way more than me slogging my guts out at my day job.
