I've recently sent an email to a seller to ask about several items that have not been received & were paid for on the 13th November; the items haven't been marked as posted either. The next step is to raise a complaint via PayPal - opening a case via the PayPal Resolution Centre. How long should I wait for a reply to my first email.
The seller is a casual seller (800+ stars) with 100% feedback. They are still listing an had several items finish over this weekend. I'm not really keen on the idea of obtaining their personal details and possibly phoning them. After all, if they are still selling they should receive the ebay communication, and I'd rather everything be in writing.

They have had enough time, (assuming they are located in Australia) I'd be heading to PayPal now, that may inspire them to communicate with you.

How unusual. If it is the seller with sun in their ID they have current listings, and have left feedback for others yesterday.
Not all sellers mark items as sent, but as this seller has not responded to your messages, I wouldn't muck around any further, I would just open item not received paypal disputes, and give them a day or two to respond, and if no response, escalate to a claim, so you can get your dosh back asap hopefully.
