How to contact ebay??!!??!!??

I have purcahsed an item that wasleft unattended  after delivery and disappeared.
I have requested the seller to help and the only thing he came up with was to escalate this to ebay.

So I did and now I'm stuck in a process where I have to post back an item I don't have.

Ebay only shows me the option to add a tracking code and doens't let me do anything else.

How is it possible that a giant such as ebay doens't have a dedicated team of customer support specialists?

This is ridicolous.... how do i get to talk or chat with someone that can actually do something?

Thanks

What's the MBG got to do with this particular subject. ??

Nothing whatsoever. The same as insurance.

The item has been deemed by the carrier as delivered, so neither apply.

I am just stating what sellers are told when they have an issue with an item they sent . Posters here will tell them it is up to you to insure your parcel not the buyer.

In the OP's case it has no benefit due to Australia Post requiring Signature on delivery to stop safe drop or a seller using eparcel. The only option is to get the photo as Aust Post delivery drivers do get house numbers wrong.

For those that say once they drop the parcel off it is out of their hands have you tried making an insurance claim as a buyer. It requires the seller to provide an invoice for the cost of the item not what the item sold for.

I agree and any experienced seller knows how to avoid issues and not rely on the buyer to take responsibility for a safe delivery.

Re: How to contact ebay??!!??!!??

Unfortunately, especially at this time of year, there are some unscrupulous people who will steal packages from people's doorsteps.

That's not the fault of Aus post or the courier, it is not the fault of the seller who has arranged for the parcel to be delivered safely to the correct address.

The unsafe part came into play after delivery, when the parcel was not taken inside by the buyer.

If your home is in a main street or in an area where you think parcels are at high risk, then you as buyer need to make other arrangements for parcels. Ebay does not cover theft of your item after delivery.

Buyers often advise sellers to secure insurance, relying on the money-back guarantee to protect them in transactions.
