I bought a bag in eBay unfortunately I got fooled . Seller said it was authentic but looks so fake. Got authentication if it’s real. The results was counterfeit. I send the bag back. Seller abused me. Would not refund 1,200 of my money. I report to eBay. To my shock eBay would not give me a refund and close my case! I don’t know how to complain to eBay. eBay protect dodge seller.

Since I was new in eBay when I received the bag and realised it was fake I informed the seller and advised him. He denied it. So I ask real authentication to check it. I send it to him. He said send the bag back and he will refund it provided I will write a good feedback on him. I return the bag and wrote a bad feedback about the authentication of the bag. The seller opened a case and close it it think. I don’t know someone close the case.

Do you mean they blocked your personal email address after giving you theirs?

By the way, feedback extortion is against eBay rules I think. Did you tell eBay what the seller said?

Re: How to open a close case

Just for future reference Never send an item back before receiving refund no matter what the seller sais.

That is actually incorrect.

A seller is required to provide a refund on receipt of the returned item, which must have tracking if the item is returned via a dispute. You would be lucky to find a seller who will refund before getting their item back. That is why the dispute process is in place. Buyer returns item, seller receives item, buyer gets refund.  And if it's done via the dispute and the seller hasn't refunded after receiving the item, as long as tracking shows delivered, then eBay will provide the refund and recoup from the seller.

it's no different to you buying online from say Target and wanting a refund for whatever reason.  They will only refund on receipt of the returned item.
