Buyer fb is always 100% no matter how much of a PITA they may be.
It's pointless except for their fb left for others which is often a real indicator of what the buyer is really like.
I've read some posts here from the most PITA ebayers ever.& it's always 100% unless they actually take a walk on the wild side & sell something. That potamus person, the dude selling the empty box...both unethical/pscho PITA but still on 100% fb.

Incase the OP does come back,
The answer is simple, don't leave feedback for the seller until you receive feedback from them (that is the way a lot of sellers do it).
After all, feedback for a buyer is really only a count of how much you have purchased, nothing more.

LOL...yes, you did, thankyou!

easy peasy lemon squeezy
Easily sorted ~ as leaving feedback is not compulsary for a seller or a buyer - if it really is important to you that sellers leave feedback - then simply buy from those sellers that leave feedback for their buyers straight away.
Search a sellers sold items - and then see if they have left feedback for those items recently. Whilst the dates do not show, the items do - pretty straight forward to deduce if they leave feedback when buyer pays, or seller posts the goods. When you get the hang of it should take no time at all.
Then you will be happier and in the process punished those sellers that don't leave feedback by giving your $$$ to those that do.

I agree, as a buyer or a seller, it is just a courtesy to leave feedback and only takes a minute (especially if it's been a pleasant outcome for both parties) but.....then again......if they are horrible, it's more tricky!

it may be a courtesy, but with the recent changes like eBay's MBG, PayPal 180 day claim period and the propensity for buyer's making chargeback claims through their credit card providers, I think that many sellers will put off leaving feedback until they are absolutely sure that the transaction has concluded i.e. buyer is not going to make any claim. Sellers will come to this conclusion when a buyer leaves them +ve feedback.

I am still waiting for somebody to explain to me what buyer feedback is any good for other than a record of how many items you have purchased from sellers who leave feedback.
It is not like you can play dress up with it and take it for a walk like a pampered pooch, you can't add some other ingredients and make a tasty meal of it, you can't get all dressed up and take it out on a date (I hope) womanwink:

That made more sense in the distant past when a **bleep**-for-tat negative could be left for the buyer rather than now surely?

A seller may not be able to leave a buyer a negative, but if their experience with that buyer is negative, they probably don't want to leave them a positive.
A seller's experience with a buyer does not end as soon as the buyer pays, therefore a seller often will not comment on their experience with a buyer just because they pay.

True, but it is a super small victory not to leave feedback.
