I bought a fraudulent product from ebay

Hi,

I bought a product from an ebay seller and now know that this product is fraudulent - and worthless to us. I have reported the item to ebay however would like to speak with or chat on line - at least to someone from ebay. This seller is still selling from ebay! I would be grateful for any help

How and when did you pay for the item?

If you used paypal and it is within 45 days since you paid you can open a dispute for Item Not As Described.

You will need to get a letter from the manufacturer or an authorised 3rd party to state that the goods are fake and submit it to paypal.

Ebay will not take any notice of what you say unless you can provide that all important proof that the item is a fake.

I bought an item which I subsequently found out via a very experienced third party was a fake.

Thankfully I discovered this before I paid but then, despite it not being as described, copped an unpaid item strike for my trouble.

Clean, I'd call eBay about your strike and get it removed. Although 1 strike won't hurt you, but if it happens again, through no fault of your own, then you know the outcome.

Probably nothing much can be done now, it was over 12 months ago.

Oh well, it would be long gone then!!
