I bought two shirts, the seller offers combined shipping, but I save almost nothing

How can I buy two items at combined shipping and only get posting 20cents cheaper than if they posted them separately?

Sellers do not have to give any discount on combined postage of they choose not too.

But any good seller will do so.

Did you ask prior to purchase what the postage would be for multiple items and if a discount was given and what it would be?

All ways ask before you purchase if it is not stated in the listing.

I checked if they offered combined shipping on multiple purchases, they said yes.

But now when I am asking for combined invoice with combined postage, they tell me I won't save much, have gave me 20c of one of the postage prices, but I still have to pay for both separately???

If you have to pay separately, tell them to send the shirts separately!

Posting two shirts together might actually cost more than posting them separately. How much is the P&H being charged for a single shirt?

If a single shirt is being sent as a large letter (biggest allowable dimensions for a large letter is A4 size, no more than 2cm thick and no more than 500 grams in weight), the postage cost is no more than $3.00 (but add on to that any packaging the seller will use).

@Unless they are very thin and light weight material, it would probably be impossible to send two shirts as a large letter, which means the minimum postage cost becomes $6.95 (or $7.15 to over $8 for satchels), however if the combined weight of the shirts is over 500gm, the cost is a fair bit more (if using satchels, the next weight bracket up is 3kg @ over $11.00).

So, there is every chance your seller is actually just charging normal, Australia Post charges and as such, can't offer a combined postage discount because AP don't.

The postage for one shirt is listed in Us dollars $6.43

The other shirt postage is listed in UK pounds 1.73

Both shirts are from the same company both being shipped from same location

Out of principal, I have told them to post both separately then.

you must make 2 paypal payments as a seller cannot combine 2 currencies
