I have paid for an item but the seller will not respond at all. Can eBay help?

How many days has it been since you paid? What is the seller's handling time for the item you bought?

Seller's aren't required to respond to a buyer - sure, they should, it's polite, but you and eBay can't force them to.

Wait until the expected delivery date range has passed, and if you haven't seen your item, open an item not received request to commence the refund process.

What are you needing them to respond to?

If it is a question about the item, did you ask before or after buying?

We are buyer and sellers just like you

If it's an overseas purchase, have you taken into consideration the time differences?

They might be still sleeping.

And even so, sellers are not at their computers 7 days a week.

Sellers like time off too.

You know....family time, personal business to take care of, and lots more reasons.

Doesn't help much when the seller won't reveal where the goods purchased can be picked up. eBay web site on this a merry -go-round of obstruction. Great site to totally avoid in future. Bank fraud squad now involved.

Dunno if you've heard, but there's a deadly virus out there.

I wouldn't want anyone coming to pick up an item either.

Simply open a case for item not received and get your money back.

Bank fraud squad!  Talk about over the top.
