It's fairly obvious, isn't it?

The OP (portrayed as the buyer), sent a refund to a seller.

Then a third party sailor got involved for some reason, and didn't receive anything (from who is anybody's guess), and they closed something - possibly the cabin door, or porthole would be the most logical assumption here, but who knows.
