sounds like you may have got a Phishing email , i would be ringing PayPal ASAP and changing your passwords quick smart.

I'm not sure what a phishing e mail is . I have already contacted E bay and they advised me to ask for a maunal invoice which I am now having trouble getting ,as the messaging system wont let me send my e mail through so my seller can send me the invoice . I am also not sure if this is in fact the correct proceedure and intend to call up again tomorrow . Does anyone here know if that is usual to ask a buyer to send their mailing adress through before a manual invoice can be sent ?? Thanks once again Mand

Buyer beware.
ebay and Paypal have your details. You would have needed to put those in when you created your ebay account. Sellers only have to hit a link to send an invoice you don't need to give the seller the info for them to send you one.

Oh, and definitely don't give your credit card details. They should be with Paypal and Paypal will debit your card.

Seller will all ready have all your details including your email address, do not deal with the seller through private emails , only through the eBay message system, you do not need to send them your email address as it will be on the sellers order details.
