I purchased a phone using the "buy it now" option and have not heard from the seller in regards to my purchase. I have tried getting in contact with the seller (I've sent an e-mail asking if the item has been shipped, and if so if they could send a tracking #), but have heard no response. The account which I purchased from seems to have only 1 other review and I suspect I may have been scammed. It's been 5 days since purchase and no response has been given, no tracking number, nothing. Should I continue to wait or file a complaint through ebay?

Padi,
Did you try to open a Dispute through the Ebay Resolution Centre > Paypal where the 'wait for 10 days' message usually appears or
did you log on to Paypal directly where you can usually open a case immediately.

Hi ss, I only tried by clicking on "resolve a problem" perhaps by going into PayPal itself I'd be able to open a dispute before that 10 day period.
Yep, just tried going into PayPal direct for a transaction on 18th August and it looked as though it was going to go through o.k.
Hmmmm, the plot thickens so to speak............................

Paypal dispute at any time, ebay dispute sit on your thumbs for 10 days.
