I bought a massage chair last night and went in to check out what others had paid in the past.
OMG... the rat has been exposed.
Check it out for yourselves before I take it any further and report it to ebay just so I have 100% confirmation from in here that shill bidding is going on.
Check out i***1 $1486 just about every time!

I didn't bother going any further. I've been stung too. 😞

It's the same in every listing for this particular item but in some the ID changes but is also used repeatedly again as well.X-(

Um... I'm not sure how to go about reporting this. Need some step by step help please?

Try the Hijack Hunters thread dixo....taz or someone else will take it from there.
Or you could try just reporting it from the listing....not sure that it will be taken seriously though if the listing has finished.

If you report for shilling and provide as much info as you can re other ID's etc., ebay can act fairly quickly if you make it easy for them.
Also, I think getting repairs on this if it fails would be a nightmare. IMO, abort.

I wrote this in another thread so just C&P'd it here:
I spoke with ebay and they agreed there is the same bidder in EVERY transaction but there is NO EVIDENCE of shill bidding! WT :^O

The fact that i***l is always the 2nd last bid to top up the price to $1500 and I even gave them evidence of i***l (0) winning the item on but still bidding for the same item continually after that...meh! I do believe I've had better luck speaking with a brick wall. X-(

Which basically means there is no connection,eg:
The shiller uses a different computer.
They are at a different address.
And/or doesn't have the same last name.
That's the criteria eBay uses for shill bidders and I've only ever had one removed that didn't match that criteria because they "bid" on over 200 listings from one "seller",(they also "won" a fair percentage of them).
Total bids: 29 Items bid on: 29 Bid activity (%) with this seller: 100%
We know what that is but,X-(
The brick wall would be a very handy emoticon and would be used quite often,:O
