I've reported rudeness and bad service from a seller

I bought 4 x pairs of baby socks (each was one auction) and the postage from VIC to NSW was going to be $10 per pair.  They 'discounted' it from $40 to $30.  I asked a few questions and was given the okay to send my own pre-paid, pre-addressed 3kg bag (which cost me $11.70). Now they are refusing to put the bag in the post & want me to arrange collection.  I"m in Sydney and they are in Melbourne. 


 


I copied the part of the correspondence to ebay customer complaint.

Has anyone got a response from customer support about unfair behaivour/  bad service/ postage pirates?


 


note: I looked up their house on google maps and there is a post office less than 1km from their home.  Love google maps.

This has been a very entertaining thread, nice to see everyone having a bit of a giggle, and no doubt we will be awaiting the eventual finale, Kopes we expect immediate updates, and yes photos would be great B-)

Just had a text from Lady M asking when I can pick up the items and when suitable times were given to the seller, surprise, they have decided they CAN post them afterall.


So sorry everyone no pics, just this one for foxy. :^O

not sure why you are paying an inflated price because of shill bidding and aren't concerned at all about that. other bidder has 86% with your seller. plus 2 bids with 2 sellers for a dvd drive. Ripped off all round

I too have been watching but still feel un easy about the whole thing. I know sellers should not put up there postage fees but I just think if you have a problem with postage fees you should talk to the seller before buying not after.

The OP did converse with the seller first, and they agreed she could send a prepaid satchel to post the socks,  but then said they wouldn`t take the satchel to the post without being paid to do so. 


The obvious shill bidding is an issue, as is the postage, not so much for the initial cost to send one, moreso they wanted full postage on all 4 items that could be sent for not much more than the cost of one pair.


 


But I think the sellers attitude is what got everyones attention.


I also found the thread very entertaining, and as I said previously, its always good to see members coming together to support another. and on the lighter side, have a few laughs along the way.


I was looking forward to hear Kopes` report, and I suppose we can cancel the hire bus, 😐
