I have spent about $2,000 with one supplier in the States, buying about fifty items over a period of 3 months. All was well at the beginning but then items listed as 'new' were obviously not, with major faults. I left honest feedback and now find that the seller has blocked me from bidding.
How can we trust the feedback system if sellers are allowed to block buyers who speak up rather than accept that it was a bad transaction and possibly never use ebay again.
It distorts the feedback system and has definitely changed my opinion of ebay.

I'm dumbfounded . . . . no . . . . speechless!

Me too slr, I can handle the peanuts but a while back a seller I buy from In the U.S. was using bubble wrap that was sticky on one side, that very nearly got him a neg - well it would have done if I could have unstuck my hands from the +bleep+ bubble wrap.
(sidles up to CabSav......................)

when I read your opening post, about the volume of items and cost, and the States, and the problems, I thought of two sellers.
when I looked at your feedback, it was one of them.
I have had dealings with them, but many years ago...and it looks like exactly the same hit and miss approach with their items.
after the first problem, with the feedback that month indicating a fair few more, I voluntarily stopped buying from them.
you were able to speak up and warn other potential buyers, by leaving feedback.
it is a good thing that you did, and that you had that right.
being blocked by them is a badge of honour. You were honest and they didn't like it.
just feel good about the fact you were able to tell others about the problems, and spend your money where it's more appreciated.

Being blocked after leaving a neg is probably styandard practice for most sellers. A disgruntled buyer is a potential feedback bomber, They have no idea just how disgruntled or vengeful you may be. There are some buyers with serious vengence issues here.

My speechlessness was in response to the OP who has left 8 negs for this seller in the space of three and a half weeks AND countless false positives for items they have bought over the last year yet they still want to buy from them. Unbelievable. Based on the feedback I saw I would say that some of the recent negs were "revenge" negs as they have left positives and negatives in close proximity before . . . . . . . but 6 out of 6 negatives seems strange . . . . . and reason for wondering why the OP would ever want to look at their items let alone buy anything from them.
I think the OP should get down on their knees and thank the seller for blocking them and putting to an end the troubles they have had with buying items from them . . . . . . it was a mercy bidder block . . . . . put in place to stop the buyer suffering even more

ROL, I thought that was probably what you were on about slr, I skimmed through their feedback (didn't notice the false +ves though - slaps self....), but I couldn't resist bringing up the peanut/sticky wrap thing.......................
(have to say I hate those bean-bag beans some sellers use, now they really are a pain to clean up after the dogs scatter them everywhere................)
