Increase in items from China going missing?

Hi everyone, how are you today?

I have bought items from China for many years and have rarely had a problem.  I know what I'm paying for and that there's no tracking.  However, they always turned up eventually within two months.  But this year I've had 3 items never turn up.  Maybe it's dodgy neighbours, maybe it's nosy posties, maybe it's sellers not bothering to send $5 items.

But has anyone else noticed an increase?

I at times allow my grandkids (under my supervision)  to purchase cheap items from China.  I must say that it has been several years since there has been a prolem.  If there is I claim the INR and we try again.
