Item in cart

I have contacted a seller in UK regarding the cost of sending an item to Australia.  They gave me an amount and I said I would like to buy the item.  I have it in my cart and it is in my ebay summary as an  unpaid item,  but the seller has not yet sent through the invoice and I can't pay.   As it is the last one I'm keen to buy it but it's now been more than 2 days and no further contact from the UK seller.  How long will it stay in my cart and what happens if the seller doesn't respond.  Thanks.

If you buy an item, normally it is not necessary to receive an invoice in order to pay.

Can you see the ebay email in your own email provider, which basically says you have bought the item, pay now?

I have just had a reminder from Ebay to please pay for item.

In the past few days I have attempted many times to pay  but get this message:

"Items can't be purchased because the seler has not specified postage costs to the location selected".

I also wanted another item and asked the seller to send the invoice but had not reply.

The seller cannot update or send an invoice while the item is in your Cart.

Add the second item to your Cart and then click on Pay Now.   That will buy the items and you then use the button where it says Ask Seller for Total.

You then have to wait for the seller to update the invoice....it may take a day or so if the seller in overseas.

As it stands now, while the item is in your Cart you have not bought it and someone else can buy it before you pay.

It's now been 6 days since I've requested total from seller.  I've attempted to "PAY NOW"  a number of times but can't get past this page "One or more of the items below can't be purchased because the seller has not specified postage costs to the location selected".

Can't do much more than ask the seller now 2 times to please send me total amount.

How long will it stay it my Ebay summary unpaid.

Just delete your cart and start all over again

It is showing the cart is empty but still can't pay now.

You just need to wait until the seller responds with an invoice with the updated details.

You could perhaps send one more polite message asking for the invoice and if you don't receive one

in a few days then just move on.

Have you requested the total by hitting the Request Total button at the top of your Cart or in Checkout or have you just messaged the seller?

Just remember that the seller cannot send an invoice for items in your Cart as you have not bought them yet.
