Item liquidated

Hi.

I have gone through some distressing days with my item being liquidated by the overseas shipping company..

For no apparent reason after a week into shipping,I recieved a refund on the item and no explanation to where my item is or what happened.

Without this vintage item my machine is worthless.

Either the seller or I can not find answers.

We need this returned to the seller, but as usual ebay have no idea on how to help me out.

I feel like there is something going on as I do know of a second item sent the same way and it to was liquidated.

Please,is there any help, someone to contact,,,I have had ebay call me 3 times..no help there..

Desperately in need..its killing me

Re: Item liquidated

The problem seems to be the global shipping company, where a seller sends their item and the shipping company takes on all responsibility to pack and send.

For some reason, this item has been deemed as not suitable for them to send through the post. If it is classed as a dangerous or prohibited item, they probably won't send it back to the seller either.

I don't think you're going to get this particular item, not unless, by chance, the seller has it returned to them. I doubt you'll get anywhere with ebay in this.

My only suggestion would be that if you come across another item or if this seller gets it back, and you are sure it is not a prohibited import etc, that you ask if the seller can arrange to post direct to you instead of going through a third party.

Also, is there any chance you can source the item in Australia at all, even if it is more expensive?

"with my item being liquidated by the overseas shipping company"

IF the item was sent through EIS,  once   the items reach the international hub, eBay handles everything.

To the best of my knowledge, if they can't be sent to Australia, the items are either destroyed or sent / sold to third party resellers/ liquidators, NOT sent back to the seller.

eBay issues the refund to the buyer.

To add:

Looking at the items  the US seller  who has left you feedback has sold (using EIS), if it's  a pinball electronic power board or something similar, eBay's  recently  introduced  new restrictions / safety  regulations regarding  selling  this type of item  on eBay ....so that could be the reason  for the liquidation.

Re: Item liquidated

Hi...

The problem is that I know the seller as we have had many transactions over the last 20 years and these backglasses are a like gift to me for 20 years of buying from the seller. And now without these second hand glasses I cannot complete my machines..

I will never use the ebay shipping again.

People just don't understand the stress this has on me and the seller.

Thanks ebay for killing us both..

Re: Item liquidated

You will need to pass your feedback on to eBay

YES, other members here most certainly DO understand

We are all buyers, most of us sellers (though not everyone posts on the forum with their selling ID)
