So a newbie friend bought a 14 ct gold ring which turns out to be only plated (I could have told her not to buy from that seller - sigh) and wants to return but the return process seems to have changed. She has selected item doesnt match description or photos but does she have to pay return postage??? as it doesn't seem to be an automatic dispute as was in the past. I think the seller is saying she has to pay.
If she opens the dispute through the eBay Money Back Guarantee, the seller has to pay the return costs if they want it back. If she opens the dispute through PayPal, she pays the return costs.
