I purchased 3 items from a seller in Hawaii, on the tracking number it says the parcel departed sort facility Honolulu on Nove 23rd, then it says it arrived and was processed from P&DC HOnolulu on Dec 9th.
It has not arrived yet, I have received other things from US lately in 5-7 days.
Anyhow I opened a claim with payapl cause it said leave feedback or if a problem open a claim by Dec 31st.
I did this because if it doesnt arrive by Tues, then post offices are closed for 3 days cause of xmas and am getting a bit worried I might not get it and then it will be too late to claim.
The seller sounds like she is a bit annoyed for me opening up a claim.
Also as I purchased 3 things together, and paid as one transaction. I put in the paypal transaction number, so does this mean the dispute is for the 3 things or do i have to do them seperate?
When can I escalate the claim, do they let me know when to do this??
Also if the package arrives do I just cancel the claim and apologise to the seller.
Hope this isnt too confusing, never had to do this before.
Thanks

If you need to escalate your claim, you must do so within 20 days from the date the dispute was originally lodged, so that gives your items almost 3 more weeks to arrive before you need to escalate (but do so around day 18 or 19 so there can be no possible error).
It's quite likely your parcel will turn up within that time, but if not, make it clear to your seller that if and when the parcel eventually arrives, you will immediately repay the amount involved.
As the items were invoiced, paid for, and sent as a single shipment, the dispute is obviously for all three items covered by the same item number.

If you have received things from the US in 5 to 7 days you have been very lucky and your sellers have used a premium service.
How long before the 23rd did you make payment? If it was only a couple of days then I would have been surprised to have received it already.
The tracking tells the story, the parcel probably has to go to the mainland to a major shipping hub before it even leaves the US.
If the tracking hadn't shown it was in transit then I too would have opened a dispute but when it is showing I would have left it until about 40 days after payment before opening a dispute and then would have given it at least abother 2 weeks before escalating.

and sent the invoice.
The auction finished on the 17th Dec, I was going to pay straight away but was waiting for the combined postal invoice, then I got a email from them saying they are going on vacation for 5 days, so I didnt pay until the 22nd Dec, when they were back.
I have bought once before from this seller, I think she is honest, just a postal hiccup, so now I feel bad for lodging the claim, maybe I jumped the gun a bit, but as I said ebay says I only had until 31st Dec to do this and with xmas next week, I just know I would end up forgetting all about it, as I probably wont be on computer much next week.
I wil of course refund her money if package turns up, about the quick postage , yes I did receive a couple of things that quick, I was amazed as well, though they were smal items, so maybe they are classed as a letter?? and come quicker than a actually box would.
Who KNows?? only the postal sercive i guess

I hope you meant the 17th and 22nd of NOVEMBER, if I have to go out and buy a time machine to keep up with my buyers I am giving ebay up
