Item not recieved but too late to leave feedback...

I bought a pair of cycling bottle cages around four months ago now (221550498159) seller: <Removed>.

The seller strung me along saying that they must have been lost, they'd send another etc. etc.

They never came.

It's now to late to mark as not received or even leave feedback.

Looking at the seller's feedback profile there are an alarming number of items not received, probably many more in my position who can't even leave feedback for potential buyers to see.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Nick

oops, pushed the wrong button there. Nick, unfortunately you cannot name the seller here. The mods will remove the ID soon. It looks like you have been strung along by the seller deliberately until there is no recourse. In the future, Open an Item not recieved Case immediately and this will help you get your item. It's an old trick that the Seller has done, but folks still fall for it.  Never let the seller stall you.  Due to the time limit, it looks like you have done your $$. You may be able to do a charge back, but this will depend on your Bank ?? Worth a try.

Horizon it was purchased four months ago, bit late for a dispute.

Back in October you only had 45 days to open a dispute so why you would leave it over 60 days? Paypal made it very clear that you only had 45 days and ebay have always had a 60 day limit on feedback, both things you should have known had you read the terms, conditions and policies of the sites.

If you were naive enough to let the seller drag it out that long then I have a very nice bridge I could sell you!

Have you asked the seller for a refund?

Some will refund on items not received, but if they claim to have sent 2 lots, something not right.

If they are from China, they are notorious for this sort of thing.

Never let a seller string you along, but you already know that now, maybe try chargeback though bank if your paypal was funded by credit card, but your chances of that are slim to none because of time frame.

Re: Item not recieved but too late to leave feedback...

unless you payed by PayPal and funded that payment with a credit card there is not much you can do apart from take this as a lesson to not let sellesr string you along.

If you funded a PayPal payment with a credit card you should phone your credit card provider and ask them if there is anything that can be done to reverse the payment.

Good luck

Don't really think a charge back is worth the hassle.

It was a $5 approx purchase inc delivery.  Cheap way to learn

a lesson, I'd say.

Did you look a the item location.  It is in Singapore.  Aren't

there any of these cycling cage holders available in Australia?

As everyone else has said,  don't let a seller string you along

until it's too late.   Next time could be a lot more expensive.

And....always, always look at a sellers feedback before deciding

to buy
