Hi there,
Can someone help me to understand this please
i purchased an item, the payment has gone through but i have received an email from customerhelp_au@ebay.com which says:
MC999 The listing you're interested in is no longer available" As the subject field
THEN
The body of the message says:
"we're writing to let you know that we've removed an item you've recently won (the it lists the item number and description)
Then goes on to say
"Since you've already paid for the item, you dont need to do anything else. If your item hasnt arrived yet, it should arrive soon. If it doesnt, then you'll want to open a case in our Resolution Centre"
What on earth does this mean? This is a most contradictory message - if the item has been removed how can i possibly be recieving it????
Please help! The payment has gone through

The listing was in violation of a listing or ebay policy so it was removed.
If you paid with paypal and if the item does not arrive within a reasonable time then open a dispute for item not received.

I've had a few of those with my son's purchases (mainly with sales from China) on my account.ebay pulls the listing for whatever reason.
All of these items were received same as any other transaction but couldn't leave fb for them.
Don't panic, you wiill probably get your stuff & if not you can still dispute to get a refund.

I have got 4 of these messages a week after I brought some LED lights from China.
I tryed to contact sellers via Email with no reply. I went to resolution center as suggested and it just sends you in a circle. I can not contact seller because Ebay comes up with message, this is no longer a regestered member and to contact resolution center only to get the same advise to contact the seller. I have tryed to get ERbay to conact me to explain whats going on, but after 5 attempts for call back and email I have given up. This is what they hope you do give up in frustration and go away.
It seems Ebays resolution center is based in China?????
Please get you act together Ebay, respond to your users, Gumtree is a looking better option.
We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Centre to help resolve any problems you may encounter.

Presuming you paid by Paypal log into their site and get their phone number, have the transaction ID handy and ask to open a dispute, if you don't have any joy at first ask to speak to a supervisor and go from there.
A paypal disput is a better option than an eBay dispute as you can change from an "item not recieved" to an "item not as descibed"
If you've already opened an eBay dispute then you're stuck with that since you can only do one or the other, not both..

Where they for prices a lot lower then what they are "worth"?
If yes, then I presume they are scam items,(hence why they were removed and the seller NARU'd).
If they where listed in the Go-carts or Pocket bikes category then Paypal will tell you that you have no protection as
those categories aren't covered.
If that's the case then you will need to ring Paypal and speak to a supervisor to get your money back.
Please keep us informed on any outcome,(as we report a number of these scammers each week but we would
like to understand the full procedure and outcome).

I will keep you up to date.
Should I open a case now with Paypal or wait to see if the goods arrive as suggested buy Ebay.
Two of the items have a tracking number but it leads to Aust Post { no activity to report }.
The sales are all marked posted for the last 10 days.

Try this link for a tracking site, it's about the best out there.......
If there's no activity on that one either, I would be opening a dispute with Paypal for "item not received" as I outlined earlier - if the items do show up you can always repay the seller through Paypal. Also if the items turn up and are not as described you can change the dispute to reflect that.

You will find that when you do go to dispute center and click on open a case a message will come back saying.: THIS DOSE NOT QUALIFY FOR BUYER PROTECTION.
Then you go to PayPal and start a case and you will get a message saying. :ebay has cancelled this product and to contact them.
Then you will go back and when you try to open a case and enter product id it dose not reconise it. It will suggest you contact seller but all contact thru Ebay is blocked. YOU GO AROUND IN CIRCLES DINDING LOCKED DOORS SENDING YOU BACK TO THE START.
I f you try to contactact or get them to call you the option won't work if it is in referance to the item they blocked.
GOOD LUCK
