Items not being delivered!!

Hi,

A lot of the items I've bought recently are not being delivered at all which has lead me to cancel a few orders. Recently I've tried to purchase iphone leather cases over ebay and it's just not being delivered. Is this an issue with ebay or something going astray at Aus Post?

It's difficult to say without knowing where the items are being sent from, and whether there are any other common factors aside from the fact that they're (presumably) posted to your address.

If they're local purchases, there has been a few delays with AP's delivery times, however that's relatively sporadic and isn't related to any specific state / region etc.

How many is "a lot"?

And what do the sellers say when you tell them the items have not arrived?

Why do you cancel the orders, or should I say why do the sellers cancel the orders?

Hi adityachanda,

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having issues receiving parcels. We’d be happy to investigate the matter. Could you contact us on Facebook or Twitter? If you could also present any tracking numbers for the articles you were expecting it will assist us greatly. Request that someone contacts you and we’ll give you a call and chat over the phone.

@ harley_babes_hoard,

Have we spoken to you yet about the issues you are experiencing? Please reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter and we’ll be glad to give you a phone call. Last thing we want is you being unhappy with our service.

Thanks for the reply. I actually gave Aus Post a call this morning and asked them to further investigate the issue; reference number VH2604325. I don't use FB or twitter, is there another medium that I can use to contact you? There don't seem to be any tracking numbers attached to any of the articles. Any other info. I can provide on the articles for you to help track them?

Items not being delivered!!

I can name at least 6 items over the past year that I've had this issue with. The sellers generally asked me to wait a few days longer otherwise they would post another one. One of them was a ereader worth like 200 bux so i dont really blame the seller for waiting before sending a second order. Didn't realise so many other people are having these same issues.

And I've cancelled a couple of the orders because i assumed it was the seller's fault and couldn't be bothered waiting longer than a month for an item that was meant to arrive within the week- but it can't really be an issue with 6 different sellers..right?

I have experienced HUGE delays in the last few weeks also. OSeas from USA sent 19 Sept is one example......packets from within Australia taking up to 14 days from when seller/s have posted-with tracking but other than 'date lodged' and 'in transit' no further details avail to see or report. To me this is a seems a contradiction....this use of the word 'TRACKING' or 'tracking number' for a service that clients pay top dollar for yet CANNOT 'track' a parcel on its journey. Am sick of hearing the platitude'YES! This is tracking....cos when the parcel arrives you get told and we know that it has arrived'!!?! .....please, someone hold my eye-balls still!!!!! . I will not be making any further purchases after next week leading up to Christmas. Too many delays for a service that I am paying for!!

Further....as a 'professional' business, AP wants customers to use social media sites to make enquiries/contact about issues? in my opinion this is not very professional. I do not use Faceoff or **bleep**ter myself-too busy chasing down missing and late parcelsSmiley Frustrated

Even if someone knew HOW to use Facebook or Twitter, what's the point of reaching out?

You don't do anything to fix the issues that we have all been having for a long time now, (If you did they would be getting better, not worse) just give publicly acceptable cut and paste damage control, ineffective responses, that are usually either inaccurate or provide no indication that you even read the issues or questions.

We have seen on these boards alone the HUGE amount of false and contradicting information given by Aus Post employees, and seen how when a blunt question that goes to the root of the issue is asked, it is ignored.

I personally have started 3 threads with questions such as those when I thought perhaps they were missed in the thread they were raised and they were ignored EVERY TIME, even though less intrusive questions were being answered from 5 or 6 pages behind mine. I even bymped one to the top a few times when it slid down the front page and you STILL ignored it whilst supplying your random cut and pastes and false sympathy to other questions.

So, I ask again, WHAT's the point?
