Just a quick one...

I purchased numerous items from a seller - postage stated :

I am happy to combine postage.

If it can be combined and posted together without going over any postage limits any additional items will only be $0.50, otherwise, if it needs to go in a second envelope the full $2.50 postage will be charged  - send a message to confirm.

If you purchase multiple listings please do not do check out and wait for me to send you a combined invoice. To be eligible for combined postage, the payment needs to be completed in one transaction.

Postage within Australia is $2.50 - Direct Debit or PayPal accepted

I sent the request for combined invoice, and got the following message back from them :

Hi,

I have set up the combined postage invoice for you.  The total Postage and Handling amount is $5.50 - this is to allow for postage ($3.00 for items over 250g), ebay fees $2.05, Paypal fees $1.05, packaging and my time to get the items ready for sending and a trip to the post office.

Once paid I will get them sent off asap.

I am just unsure why they have stated that I have to pay for part of the ebay fee & the paypal fee!! Is it wrong to charge the seller that? Or include that as part of the postage fee?

I know - when I sell stuff on ebay, I'm just excited to make some money, haha.. I would never dream of adding fees & charges to the postage! I just suck it up & pay it, it's like bills - you never can get out of it!!

While there are sellers evading paying fees to ebay I will have to pay higher fees as an honest seller because I put my fees into the item price.

Sellers like that are bludgers and they are bludging off other sellers, throw them to the lions and report them to ebay.
