..... I won an item in Victoria on Saturday 2nd March. (I am NSW)
Seller emailed me to request payment on Monday 4th March. (at that stage, i hadnt realised i had won it as I hadnt been on the internet over the weekend, and i had placed one bid on this item a few days before)
a tad suprised by the seller demands, but obliged and paid immediately via paypal on 4th March.
On Sunday, the 10th March, I noticed the item in my *purchased* history is still unmarked as posted... so i emailed seller and asked if they could tell me when they posted it as it wasnt marked as such. (i know that not everybody marks items as posted thropugh the ebay system, so I just wanted to double check)
She replies on the same day with appologies that she had her parents staying over, and she FORGOT to post my item!... then she says that Monday (yesterday) is a P/H, so she will post Tuesday (today).
Im like.... WTF!
Im really annoyed.
Im REALLY REALLY annoyed!
I opened an item not received case today. I know it will be posted, and i hope it will eventually arrive... but to simply *forget* to post, after 6 days of having my money, then im sorry, but case open it is!
(delivery handeling time-within 3 days of cleared payment)
Sorry.... just had to rant.
cheers...

I do not agree with many eBay Policies, but, like you, I abide by them.
sure you do

bump do you realise that you are consistently breaching ebay policy yourself, perhaps you need to walk the talk before you lament any further ...
Grounds for immediate post/thread removal, board sanction and/or eBay suspension
"Using signatures or taglines other than your name or eBay User ID within posts"
I had no idea but will remove it immediately.
Wow, now i will have to spend the whole night reporting all the posters with signatures that don't meet requirements.

Has anyone got a link to the specific policy re leaving negative postive. I'm too lazy to search for it myself :8}
If I remember correctly, when the ability to leave negs for buyers was removed, this topic was discussed on the boards and the consensus seemed to be that it was ok to mention that someone didnt pay, providing the wording wasnt "negative". A bit like the policy re discouraging paypal, your not allowed to discourage or charge more for a buyer to use paypal, but you can encourage or offer a discount if they use bank deposit.
Its all in the wording used.

Comment left - Great at Bidding !! Next time payment would be even better. - is something I consider a negative comment, in fact, any comment mentioning non payment is, in reality negative.

Links or scripts, including outside redirects into an eBay Store, as these could be changed to redirect elsewhere at any time
References to eBay, PayPal or law enforcement investigations
Negative statements left for a buyer that conflict with the positive rating
Personally identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or email address
Political, religious, or social commentary rather than a genuine comment about the transaction
Comments, replies, or follow-ups that reference a separate transaction
Profane, vulgar, obscene, or racist language, or adult material.
Its pretty vague really, I guess it all depends on what ebay consider negative.

And I need the link to the rules re using a siggies because I can't find it.:^O
How can I spend the night reporting all those siggies being used when I don't know the policy?

My recollection of when they introduced sigs is that there was virtually no limit.
Given posts don't seem to be deleted because the poster uses a sig that's not their ID, and the BPs would ensure it if it was a violation, I'll keep on using a sig.
I was going to delete mine, as I generally don't like them, but now there is no way I will.

I can't link to the actual policy, but I did read through the whole thing and it's in there alright..

What's "within posts"? ]:)
I don't think the signature facility provided by eBay is 'within posts' - it's separate from the body of a post and perhaps that rule was made (in 2009) after the original sig facility was removed.
Besides, take a look at Mary's (the eBay community guide) signature: http://community.ebay.com.au/topic/Recent-Ebay-News/Changes-Coming-Soon/500153231

I'm going to go to the Devils Down under thread and ask them to make me a really annoying sig, with lots of bright colours and make it flash... Then you'll all wish I only had a random quote in my sig
