..... I won an item in Victoria on Saturday 2nd March. (I am NSW)
Seller emailed me to request payment on Monday 4th March. (at that stage, i hadnt realised i had won it as I hadnt been on the internet over the weekend, and i had placed one bid on this item a few days before)
a tad suprised by the seller demands, but obliged and paid immediately via paypal on 4th March.
On Sunday, the 10th March, I noticed the item in my *purchased* history is still unmarked as posted... so i emailed seller and asked if they could tell me when they posted it as it wasnt marked as such. (i know that not everybody marks items as posted thropugh the ebay system, so I just wanted to double check)
She replies on the same day with appologies that she had her parents staying over, and she FORGOT to post my item!... then she says that Monday (yesterday) is a P/H, so she will post Tuesday (today).
Im like.... WTF!
Im really annoyed.
Im REALLY REALLY annoyed!
I opened an item not received case today. I know it will be posted, and i hope it will eventually arrive... but to simply *forget* to post, after 6 days of having my money, then im sorry, but case open it is!
(delivery handeling time-within 3 days of cleared payment)
Sorry.... just had to rant.
cheers...

cats, I think there's a key difference in that example. "Holden Commodore" is the typical name for their product. It's not just advertised as "Commodore."
After a brief look at the V.K. website, Veronika Maine just advertises as Veronika Maine and doesn't mention Cue anywhere.

bump - the policy violations that I copped from ebay were not intentional and regarding something I and most clothing sellers have doing for years and years without knowledge that we could not put in title the manufacturer as well as brand.
So think that through before you judge.
I was commenting on a poster leaving a false positive, I didn't bother looking back to see who said it and I will judge on the information that I see here.

Speaking of false negatives - whatever that even means, even after talking with Ebay person I still have no idea why sellers can't say in buyers f/back that they didn't pay. After all it is the truth of the matter.
Ebay offered a not very convincing explanation at all - as the fact remains that the buyer (s) didn't pay, those few that I asked about were all repeat offenders.
I didn't even ring to ask about f/back, I rang to see how come they can still bid and buy - business as usual - when we had preferences set in place, they said they remove the strikes from buyers for non payment even with an excuse of " I forgot to pay, I was very busy elsewhere" - this buyer using the same excuse 7 times!

It is not my intention is not to brag about anything to do with non-payment. I am posting on an issue that is one that is important to me, as well as to a number of other sellers and where IMO the system needs improvement to make it a safer trading place for all.
Surprisingly I agree with your statement. Sadly you are going the wrong way about it.

I argued my point.
That is what a discussion board is about, I thought. ๐

My comments are not about cue etc because I have to rely on what others have said about the issue due to having no knowledge of Victoria (????) I would agree that ebay got that terribly wrong.
My comments were about a poster admitting recently to shill bidding their own auctions and on this thread a poster clearly leaving false positives for buyers.
That is what I find so sad, that regulars could try to justify their actions when clearly breaching policy.
It doesn't matter whether or not I agree with that policy but I abide by it.

Well said bump!
I do not agree with many eBay Policies, but, like you, I abide by them.

bump do you realise that you are consistently breaching ebay policy yourself, perhaps you need to walk the talk before you lament any further ...
