..... I won an item in Victoria on Saturday 2nd March. (I am NSW)
Seller emailed me to request payment on Monday 4th March. (at that stage, i hadnt realised i had won it as I hadnt been on the internet over the weekend, and i had placed one bid on this item a few days before)
a tad suprised by the seller demands, but obliged and paid immediately via paypal on 4th March.
On Sunday, the 10th March, I noticed the item in my *purchased* history is still unmarked as posted... so i emailed seller and asked if they could tell me when they posted it as it wasnt marked as such. (i know that not everybody marks items as posted thropugh the ebay system, so I just wanted to double check)
She replies on the same day with appologies that she had her parents staying over, and she FORGOT to post my item!... then she says that Monday (yesterday) is a P/H, so she will post Tuesday (today).
Im like.... WTF!
Im really annoyed.
Im REALLY REALLY annoyed!
I opened an item not received case today. I know it will be posted, and i hope it will eventually arrive... but to simply *forget* to post, after 6 days of having my money, then im sorry, but case open it is!
(delivery handeling time-within 3 days of cleared payment)
Sorry.... just had to rant.
cheers...

6. You are obviously full of it.

I don't care, it's still a violation of policy and regardless of what you think, you're no different to any other member who are expected to play by the rules.
The buyer does the wrong thing by not paying, so you do the wrong thing by leaving false positives.
In all truth, I don't really care what you do, but you shouldn't go bragging about your policy violations to others and try to give the impression you're right, cause you're not.

It is not my intention is not to brag about anything to do with non-payment. I am posting on an issue that is one that is important to me, as well as to a number of other sellers and where IMO the system needs improvement to make it a safer trading place for all.

Feedback comments left for non-payers have to be sufficiently negative to warrant removal
What is sufficiently negative ???
Is the removal process similar to what happens when sellers seek removal - an arbitrary decision that depends on the ebay rep you happen to strike and what mood they are in ??
Have your convictions been tested, and if not are you prepared to test them?
The only way you'll know for sure is if an NPB reports one of your comments. If that hasn't happened yet, are you prepared to put your policy compliance, and therefore search rankings, on the line and allow an NPB to report your FB?

Yes. of course.
It would be on the proviso that any test is conducted after my 2 policy violations for listing Veronika Maine and Cue in the same title have been retired.

Good to know - I'm quite curious to see if they are judged as negative comments, tbh.

Me too !!!

I am disappointed that some regular posters are coming here and talking about their policy violations and how they try to justify their behaviour.
I know why so many buyers and sellers have lost faith in ebay with this sort of "I'll break any rules I don't agree with" attitude.
Reading these discussion boiards over the last couple of months has done more to turn me off ebay that anything ebay do themselves.
If a seller breaks one rule what is to say they won't break another?
As a seller I would prefer a non paying bidder than as a buyer having a rule breaking seller.

bump - the policy violations that I copped from ebay were not intentional and regarding something I and most clothing sellers have doing for years and years without knowledge that we could not put in title the manufacturer as well as brand.
So think that through before you judge.

From ebay email ...
" We noticed that your listings includes a statement, "by Cue" in the title.
As per our Listing Policies, sellers are highly encourage to only use the actual brand name of the item being sold in a listing. Sellers can only include a brand, celebrity, manufacturer, or style name in a listing only if that information directly matches what they?re selling in the listing. "
I always thought that saying Veronika Maine by Cue was the same as saying Commodore by Holden - but apparently not.
