I have been using eBay for years but since Covid the Customer service is almost nil. Consequently I avoid it like the plague and only use it when desperate. There is literally no help with difficult sellers who are taking advantage. Ebay if your wondering why your business is decaying, look at the sellers many of whom are appalling. Look inside YOUR lack of buyer support which is literally awful. It's getting very hard to find good sellers on eBay now..... think I will stick to Amazon who may be costly but is much better. I can't even talk to anyone anymore!!!! I am disgusted.. very cheesed off buyer in NSW

All the option for help are in front of you, just open the relevant case, Ebay always looks after the buyer.

If you have been using eBay for years, you ought to know the basics
eBay do not read here (well, very rarely)
It is a member to member forum where members who actually know how eBay works, know the policies etc etc are on pretty much 24/7
Yes, the call center closed due to Covi and did not re-open
Sellers will only take advantage if you let them
eBay is all about the buyer
You do not have to let dodgy sellers play with you
You could choose to open and follow through with the correct dispute, within the time limit
You could come to the forum, say this and this is happening, what do I do?
Don't buy from dodgy sellers in the first place, your feedback shows you often choose dodgy sellers registered in China
Not up to eBay to make good buying choices for you
And your choice if you do not use the tools you are given when problems arise

I disagree "eBay always looks after the buyer". Please take another good look on the previous community forum with humongous complaints on eBay from buyer.

Is that mean eBay hasn ' t got enough ability to censor dodgy sellers who are scamming innocent buyers in the "used to be" No 1 e- commerce platform?

Complaints from buyers who don't bother finding out how eBay works and can't be bothered reading how the Money Back Guarantee works.
Whether you agree with sugar or not, sugar is correct.

I believe it means that you don't have "enough ability" to read the eBay Money Back Guarantee which protects buyers who use it in the correct manner.

You have being a member long enough to understand how the MBG works, most of the com[plaints from buyers are from those who have not used the correct process.

It means buyers have full choice who they buy from. Full choice
full choice if they support dodgy sellers in the first place
Full choice if they do not open and follow through with disputes
Full choice if they ignore all buying basics
The buyer has full control and close to impossible to be 'scammed' if the use the tools they are given
Given you and your friends are all switching to Temu (according to one of the other threads you commented your posts make far more sense now)
So with you dragging up all these threads, since you questioned if I 'work for eBay'
Do you work for Temu?
Do they give you rewards/ gifts for your comments?
You will find most members here have too much common sense to touch Temu with a ten foot pole
What do you think the Chinese government will do with those 'innocent buyers' information?
