The whole GSP (Global Shipping Program) is a typical eBay abortion.
I think the easy way to send a message to eBay US Sellers who use GSP is to leave them Negative Feedback when an item doesn't arrive which was shipped using GSP.
Unfair against the Seller you say....well it sure is, however I email them first and advise what I'm doing and why.
Most understand and simply Opt-Out of the GSP, or has been the more common result they deal with you direct.
Ebay are just SO DUMB, they can't run anything right and will now lose even more customers and $$$$$.
Thanks eBay, but the US Seller and I have just concluded a transaction outside eBay on the same items your GSP said couldn't be shipped to Australia (which of course was wrong as chainsaws are perfectly legal in Australia) you MUPPETS

Global shipping program always label the parcels with instructions to leave the parcel "IN A SAFE LOCATION" if the address is unattended.
Mine is left on the doorstep in total view of passersby. How on earth is that a safe location.
Don't try and tell me it is up to australia post. that's bulldust. I have a notice on my door that instructs parcels not to be left which usually works but not if it is labelled as ok to leave.
Sorry to sellers but yes negative feedback is on the way.

How on earth is it the seller's problem if the delivery agent leaves a parcel where you don't want it ?????
That's no excuse to neg them........................

Your argument is with Australia Post, not a seller in another country. The feedback will probably be removed if it has anything to dowith the GSP.
I have only used the GSP a couple of times but there was never anything on it about authorising a safe drop.
Why don't you organise a safe place to leave your parcels and notify your local post office?

Hi liisa.t , thanks for bringing this up. Gosh, all I can say is that there is a whole plethora of problems with this. Just look at the numerous posts and threads about this in Australia as well as abroad.
Please, reconsider leaving negatives for the sellers. Many sellers unwittingly go along with this GSP as they erroneously feel they have to. I do understand your frustration and you have my understanding on this.
I suggest leaving no feedback instead of a negative and for those sellers that refuse to use GSP and have resisted, leave them glowing complimentary feedback , IE: "Thanks for not using GSP"

So you claim you've looked on different countries boards about GSP problems - may I ask which counties boards you looked at?
And also did you have input there with regards to your experiences with the GSP?????????????

Please go and have a look around here and there. I'm not going to do it for you this time.
You only have to Bing it or Google it.
"And also did you have input there with regards to your experiences with the GSP?????????????"
If I did, I did. If I didn't I didn't. You have a lot of question marks there padi*0409 lol.

4channel, I find it very strange that for a member who is so interested in exposing the GSP's nefarious activities, that you are reticent about showing members in other countries that have had similar experiences to yours. I would have thought that would have been at the top of your agenda to provide proof that others are having trouble with it.
Regarding posts to those other groups, your board activity shows no posting on other GSP threads in other countries - I am assuming of course that they would show here if you had posted.

Ah, what you actually said was that you refused to say whether you did or you didn't.
"If I did, I did. If I didn't I didn't. You have a lot of question marks there padi*0409"
As to my first part of my post, a valid question to you IMHO, since I was curious to see what you'd come up with on overseas boards re the GSP and any of it's failings in those countries.
