Listing removed after Ive purchased

Hi Everyone, im hoping for some advice, I just bought my children an android tablet each for xmas, four of them, so it wasnt cheap, I was just looking for accessories for it and had to check out its specs again, but in my purchase history it says this:

This listing was removed by eBay. If you already paid for the item, we recommend that you wait 10 days from the expected delivery date to see if the item arrives. If you did not pay, you are no longer obligated to pay for this item. If you have a problem with the purchase, you can resolve the problem by filing a claim through our resolution centre.

I cant even view the listing, I went to the sellers store, he only has one listing left, a different product, although before I purchased the tablets there were at least a dozen, Im a smart buyer and Im always sure to check feedback, he had a score of 99.7% positive with over 10,000 feedback given, there was absolutely nothing I noticed in the listing that went against eBay selling guidelines, so I have no idea why it would have been removed. Ive contacted him through eBay and on the email I had in my paypal receipt, no response as yet, being that they are xmas gifts I need to know if they're getting delivered and if not I need the money back asap, not 10 days after the expected delivery date (which is next monday) another problem is I didnt use a paypal account, I did pay through paypal with a credit card, but not an account, I just went to the credit card option without signing up, when I go to "view paypal transaction" the only option Im given is to sign in.

Can anyone recommend what I can do? I realise theres probably not much, but Im very stressed out, I cannot afford to buy others in the meantime and this is the bulk of my childrens xmas gift

Re: Listing removed after Ive purchased

It may have been a hijacked account or there was a breach of some sort.

I would not even wait the 10 days to open a dipsute but would just open it now to get your money back as soon as you can.

If the items arrive as described and in good working order (try before you leave feedback to make sure they all work) then you can close the case.

If they have not arrived soon then escalate the dispute to a claim.

It might be they will arrive but a good chance they will not.

know vthe feeling. ebay makes things very difficult at times. i bought sevvral items but wasn't notified that the listing was removed until 5 days later after i had sent payment. open a dispute and escalate it to a clai, paypal still waits minimum of another ten days to refund which is poor considering ebay notified transactio was cancelled. good luck

Paying with a CC via paypal is a good thing. But do set yourself up a paypal account as it is better and you can go to your bank and a do a charge back to the money back if need be.

You can still fund the payment via a CC with a PP account.

If the seller is not even replying then that in it's self a good reason to open the dispute now and escalate to a claim as soon as the system allows it.

Sorry but the removal of an item like that and no contact from the seller rings alarm bells.

In order to open the dispute you will need to open a paypal account...you will then have the full buyer protection offered by paypal.

It will take a minimum of 10 days to get your money back though, so not much hope of a resolution before Christmas.

Even if you did a bank chargeback you would not have the money immediately...it can take longer than a paypal dispute.

Oh, and even if you were given a refund in 10 days, the money will go back to your credit card which takes several days...sometimes up to a week.

Where were the items coming from?  Relying on them arriving next Monday is cutting it a bit fine this close to Christmas.

Thanks for the advice, Im just really confused, everytime I go to open a dispute it tells me to log into paypal, I have no login details, if I create an account would that purchase then be linked to my account?? There is nothing stated about credit card purchases without an account, nothing I can click on other than logging in, but as stated, I cant login to what I dont have. I have a receipt number in the paypal receipt I was emailed but I cant even find somewhere I could enter that to bring up the purchase details. The money is already taken from my credit card, I realise of course it can be traced, Ill probably have to spend 4 weeks on the phone with paypal though which wont help me give my kids their present for xmas ๐Ÿ˜ž

The items were in Sydney, Im only an hour from Sydney, it said something about "fast go" postage, or something like that, a little green icon, it was a free postage service and guaranteed by Monday

Check the seller's FB if there are now some bad comments about this item coming through.  If you open PP account with the same email address you used as a guest, it should register.  If you need help call PP, they are very helpful.  Their phone number is accessible when you log into your PP account and click on the HELP link.  Have item numbers ready; you have them in those emails telling you that you won them.
