Lost Invoice

Good morning

I made a book purchase through World of Books on 4 April 2018. I unfotunately have misplaced the invoice and require a copy of the invoice as this was a school purchase.

When I approched World of Books I received this message-

Hi there,

RE: Order 391891596226-819006893026

That is an Ebay order,

Due to a new eBay policy that has been implemented unfortunately we are no longer able to resolve issues directly with our customers, going forward all contact is to go through the eBay message centre, this mean we also can’t help via phone either.

So please contact us via the message centre, selecting the reason you have a question about your item, and we will receive your email and be happy to help.

We do apologise for this, however this policy has been implemented and we must adhere to this.

Kind regards

World of Books Customer Service

Alan Cooper

I hope you can help?

Sue Bartley

Have you done as the seller asked and contacted them through ebay?

Not ebay on these forums.  Just other members like yourself.

If you go into your purchase history to the item, there is a drop down menu on the right

'more actions'.   Then it says 'view order details'.

This will take you to a printer friendly page of your invoice.

WOB is fibbing, however. The policy applies only to pre-sale contact.

As stawks said, just print a copy of the order, and maybe a copy of the Paypal transaction. WOB in all their incarnations are UK-based, so you're not going to get a tax invoice.
