You could always promote your store by posting a message on the eBay boards purportedly asking for suggestions on how to promote your store.

Oh, hang on, you already have...

They are incredibly expensive.  Perhaps that could be your problem.

Are the scarves you sell authentic Alexander McQueen silk scarfs ?

You provide no indication in your listings that you are authorised to retail these luxury accessories - so buyers might be suspicious that your items are fake.

I personally doubt that Alexander McQueen would authorise an eBay seller based in China that can't even get the product name right in the listing title and is selling the product for signficantly less than the item normally retails at.  ($99 compared to RRP $300 +++ )

You already have the advantage of FP in Australia, so, cut the price of the product down to match the free post you receive and maybe you will get more sales from within AU.

However, a lot of eBayer's are now attempting to support local where-ever possible, (not before time) to at least try to give our sellers a chance against the unfair postal arrangements between our two countries.

Perhaps ask your question on the US or UK boards, I am sure they will be able to tell you what you should do. Smiley Wink

Are your prices competitive for equivalent items in Australian retail stores (especially their sale prices)?

suggest read my earlier post

The real deal scarves are designer items that retail new in AU (not on sale) usually $200 to $500 depending on the size and silk used.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter if your product is nice, people shopping on this site are after cheap prices.

I have several items I have had to drastically cut the prices just to get some sales. These items are great quality, well made, but nobody bought them at all at the proper price.

Also, it is known that sometimes overseas sellers use incorrect descriptions, such as listing an item as leather when the item is vinyl.

ONe manufacturer sent me a satin product (200 count) instead of vinyl, meaning useless and unsaleable, and i've seen satin items called silk by chinese manufacturers.
