Nothing much shocks me but since when did this become allowed on Ebay?

Been using Ebay for years, did a search for candles and this came up large as life -

**bleep** Dildo G Spot Butt Plug Realistic **bleep** Dong **bleep** Suction Cup Adult Sex Toy with a nice picture of it

The seller has also on his site

Life-like Sex Doll Realistic **bleep** **bleep** Boobs Male Masturbator Stroker Sex Toy  with a picture of a plastic **bleep** and anus..... now I am over 50 and in my opinion this is pretty disgusting and not at all what I want to see when I am searching for candles. ebay cash grab Surely these words and pictures are pornographic and are not acceptable on a public site.

Ebay need to stop this as they are a public company who are openly condoning pornogrphic words and images. Very tacky

By the way the seller has sold 46 masterbators, 53 Hands Free Male Masturbator Realistic Blow Job Oral Stroker Sex Toy, and 1372 Dildo Dong Realistic **bleep** **bleep** Balls Viginal **bleep** Suction Cup Adult Sex Toy

.......big demand means big money for Ebay but at what cost......?

This is a public site so surely public opinion and norms should apply. I'm not faint hearted but this is definately not acceptable when searching for candles.

ha ha isnt that funny - the cut and paste headings directly from the site have been replaced with   bleep  ! how come they can put it in their title but it is unacceptable on this comment site ....

You must just be "lucky".

I did a search for candles and did not find anything even remotely interesting or suggestive in the several pages that I looked at of over 250,000 + listings.

It is definitely not acceptable.....have you reported the offending listings?

Ebay runs on a trust basis and relies on other members to report offensive listings.

Adult products are allowed on eBay but have strict guidelines how they are displayed.

No one under the age of 18 is allowed to have an eBay account or to use eBay.

  • All adult items are restricted to buyers 18 or older
  • When creating listings and products for adult items, your photos and descriptions can't include profanity, sexually explicit, or overtly sexual content
  • Only pre-approved sellers can list in the Sex Toys and Fantasy, Fetish & accessories categories

If the seller is outside of these rules then report the listings.

I am also over the age of 50, and I have learned that if something is of no interest to me, I scroll straight past. I certainly don't click on it, read the contents, then check the other items listed by that seller, then come to the forums to complain about it. Items of an adult nature are allowed on eBay and have been for the last few years. If you aren't interested in buying those types of items, don't click on the listing.

Not only have you clicked on something you found offensive, you then searched the sellers other items, then checked their sold items too. WHY??? My guess is you were secretly wanting to make a purchase, but were concerned about what your spouse might think if they found out. Newsflash, generally sellers of those types of items post them in brown paper, so you'd be safe.

I agree, certainly a funny way to express one's offence by going and looking through all the listings you can

And then be less than pleased that words are bleeped out here by mods who have nothing to do with eBay

If I am offened by something,I certainly don't make a point of actively looking for more of it

Where these sellers breaking eBay rules? and if so, did you report the items?

100% agree with you here!!!!!

Totally inappropriate. I'm just the average kind of guy and I can apreciate ladies and their beauty etc. just as much as the next guy, and if my favourite actress was seen in the raw wouldn't invoke a negative reaction at all. But, there's a time and place!  And if people are listing sex stuff where it can be accessed accidentally by people looking for something else, they need to be chastised. Further offending should be met with a ban from selling.

Some time back there was a discussion here about sex magazine being sold. Sodomy was the subject. Explicit pics were shown. I and others here reported it. The following day it was still on sale. I was disgusted. Still am.

I am truly shocked by what you've shared - I would have thought the 'Hands Free Male Masturbator Realistic Blow Job Oral Stroker Sex Toy' would be outselling run-of-the-mill 'masterbators' by at least 5 to 1, maybe more, especially if the later omits this season's must have 'plastic **bleep** and anus' that all the kids are raving about these days.

Plastic **bleep** and anus - I'm gonna have to remember that one.
