How long does it usually take for PP to let you know that refund has been made? I thought it was automatic = instantaneous?
I am having a weird experience. Bought swimmers I absolutely love 5 days ago. I spent hours searching for something that I like, comes in my size and one that is suitable. Just because I am size 10 -12 does not mean I do not have breasts and want swimmers so high cut that they do not cover my private parts. I have not swam for years, but being on waiting list for hip replacement, my doctor suggested to keep my muscles working by doing some water aerobics. And there is no way I can go B&M shops browsing.
So, I found these swimmers, but today I get message saying that they are not available any more and they'd be happy to send me another style!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr. I asked for immediate refund.
Within 1/2 an hour I get a notification, saying that they were posted, but not tracking.
Another half an hour later (over an hour ago now), they sent me message saying that PP refund was issued, but no notice from PP of refund.
And by the way, the listing is still up saying more than 10 available in my size.

It usually is, but sometimes emails take longer to arrive for some reason.
Check in your PP account to see if they have issued you a refund or not.

The money did not originally come from PP; it came through PP from my CC, which used to be Myer Card, and it morphed into something else and now is COLES card, and I have no way to log into it.
It's several hours now, and still not notice of refund. 😞

If the money came from a credit or debit card the refund will go back there and take several days to show....probably Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
You should be able to see in paypal whether the refund has been actioned.
