Paypal issue

Last night I made a purchase, but after going through checkout couldn't pay by Paypal but got the message: "We ran into a problem and PayPal isn't available right now". My seller said she had another buyer with the same issue. 

I must admit I was suprised to see no-one else in the forum mentioning this problem.

I tried again this morning and at 10am, was still getting the same message. I'm now ready at 7pm to try again, but cannot find the checkout page. There is nothing showing in my Purchase History and I don't know where else to look.

Any suggestions?

have you attempted to buy from another seller?

ie - the issue could be at the seller's end??

That's a good idea. 

I feel I am in an alternate universe at the moment, with absolutely no record anywhere of that purchase, which was a special listing made by the seller.

Have "they" been fiddling again, that was always at the top of the page Stawks ???
