Postage from UK

It's now over 4 weeks since seller posted item from Cheshire, UK.  There is no tracking information from what I can see.

I contacted seller last week to enquire if they could follow it up their end and have not received a reply.

I've ordered from UK in the past and it has not taken this long.

Is it taking longer from UK ATM.  Thanks

do you have a date for delivery in your order info?

once that date passes you can open an item not recieved case.

5 weeks from UK isnt unheard of, ive had items take longer, also much quicker. thats if the seller posted ASAP. 

if its comming by global shipping that can cause delays too.

what was the period seller listed as posting time in days? if he waited until the last day that would reduce the time its taken so far.

all you really need to do is make sure you open a case before your time runs out for non delivery.

paypal has the better time limits for that.

I have family in UK and when they were going to send me a birthday gift in August - the parcel took a long time to arrive (about 5 weeks).  Similarly they sent me a postcard from Italy in September and it took 4 weeks to arrive.  I am not sure if it is down to Australia Post or a problem with Europe postage.  You might still find it arrives and I hope that it does.  But I can only imagine how much worse it's going to get heading up to Christmas unfortunately.
