I have pretty much given up buying avything from the USA. Are their overseas postage fees really that exhorbitant at the other end? We are talking $25 - $30 for very small packages, compared to around $10 - $15 equivalent delivery method from the UK.

You asked if I knew the allocations. You didn't enlighten me there.
It's my understanding that when the amount of 150 tonnes of mail is received, then the
sending government is billed for the extra.

Universal Postal Contributors
Australia - 20 contribution units (whatever that means)
China - 25 contribution units
Guess they contribute more than us
USA - 50 contribution units
Just to stay on topic

Yeah, until customs get hold of it and you cop a 6 figure fine. Then it won't be an utter bargain.

what goes around comes around.....
Never a truer word spoken. Especially wilful and continuous breaches of quarantine laws. Unless you think that as your rats aren't a native Australian species, they can't eat Australian food (most of which isn't native either)?

Yes, that statement is 100% and you will learn that when your next illegal import hits customs. They are waiting to seize your parcel. Second offence should see you get more than just a warning.

Who cares....they are still smelly little rodents which do not need imported food....they will eat anything you give them.
