Priorities confusion.

I ordered an item but didnt pay at that time I ordered it but got a reminder from ebay asking for me to pay. Of course I paid a few days later but now seller hasnt posted item and wont reply to my emails either. They have their priorities confused somewhat.Seller is from UK. Really really annoying and disappointing.

That is a really far off-base assessment.

 

Many of the members here that have provided advice to you are both buyer and seller (like me), some are buyers only, some are predominantly sellers, which means you get a really broad perspective collectively - and the people responding to your posts also have freedom of expression.

 

I chose to express my first response without words, simply because at this point, I can't be 100% sure you really take this attitude towards sellers, but I remain unimpressed with the attitude you have continually presented on the forums, and it's forum conduct I'm primarily addressing, but if you're not trolling then my post can also be taken in regards to your transactions, and to other members (I haven't forgotten being threatened with black magic for daring to post in one of your threads not so long ago.... Smiley LOL and no, I didn't take it seriously, but it is a prime example of how silly things get when you don't like or agree with other posts). 

 

Whether or not I'm impressed (or unimpressed) with your antics is ultimately irrelevant, I have continued to answer your threads, on occasion, with factual information and practical advice, in the hopes that eventually it would be taken on board. But one wonders what exactly it is you're trying to acheive with your posts here. Half of them are random observations that don't even invite reply, advice or discussion. I mean, stuff like "I bought something, the post sale transaction process was a little different than I'm used to, but oh well" isn't even worth a Facebook status and 'like', let alone require discussion. The rest reveal buyer behaviour that - as you can see - have many members deciding to prevent you from ever buying from them.

 

Does that not make you ask yourself a few questions? I know it might not feel very nice when a lot of people react negatively to your posts, but I really hope one day you can look on these issues from a more objective perspective. Start by thinking what you would do if you were the seller in the transactions you have a complaint about.

 

But let me take the OP seriously for a moment.

 

Thread title - Priorities confusion. You're accusing a seller of not having their priorities right, yet in the same post let us all know that you bought an item and didn't pay for it for a few days. Where were your priorities? Treat others as you would have them treat you, Michelle. If you want instant responses from sellers, perhaps you should behave the same way? 

 

I repeat that sentiment for the rest of the issues you're having with this transaction.

BTW are you aware that sometimes sellers don't get emails from buyers, it is the ebay system that is at fault not the sellers.

 

I have gone days without any emails from ebay and then get about 20 within 15 minutes but some of the emails were sent 3 or more days ago.

 

The system is not perfect.

 

And just back to your first post on this thread you say you ordered an item.

 

Well actually you didn't order it, you entered a contract to buy it but then only paid after a reminder from ebay yet you complain about a seller being tardy without even knowing if they have received your emails.

 

Also, are you allowed to bring in pet food from overseas? Seems odd that you would buy such items from England when you can buy them easily and cheaply in Australia. I can't give you any websites but google is your friend.

Bump, Michelle has told us in the past that the pet treats from overseas are the only ones worth buying.  I wish I could afford to indulge my pets as she does.  The postage alone is a killer.

 

What's the matter Michelle.....are you a bit out of your depth now that all the posters are telling you that you are at fault here.

Haha finally got confirmation its been posted. Thats cheap postage compared to a US buyer who had 5 packets of pet treats weighing 28grams each and the total cost was over $50.00.

No I certainly don't wish to indulge my pets with treats made from ingredients from who knows where, that are probably not even fit for animal consumption and certainly not made for the Australia markets with our strict standards. I feel sorry for your pets.
Where is crickey is she on hols? Haven't seen her around lately

My take on these kinds of topics is:

 

1) Possibly a vent/squark only (not a genuine question nor seeking advice)

 

2) OP having a lend of us (already been suggested)

 

3) OP does not like to converse (there is a pattern: OP does very little commenting in response)

 

4) OP has attention span of a gnat

 

5) Do not feed the animal (includes you, Dave)

 

6) WE are pets/pawns "Mummy, throw us a bone"

 

7) If I contribute information I feel might be helpful, I do so entirely at my own risk and hope that other readers will extract something of worth even if Michellebartley does not

The product is made in the UK not the backstreets of Nepal. I know a bit about pets too. I have shown cats at shows. And the reason for the delay was: (drum roll) the seller had to obtain correct packaging.
