Isn't one of the main purposes of e bay to allow customers to grab a product at a bargain price? Checked whether I could buy my Alph h facial products at a cheaper cost and I was shocked when I noticed some of the products at double the cost of the product bought at a beauty salon or the exclusive Dept. Stores. I understand that sellers need to make a profit but to exploit people !!!!! Maybe I got it all wrong but please could somebody enlighten me?
Please note that I have been purchasing from e bay for a few years now at very good prices. There are sellers who want to build a clientele based on quality service. The same, unfortunately, can not be said for all.
Could anybody out there "please explain ?"

Yes there is a myriad of pricing on here. Many of us are also stymied as to some pricing charged here but it is the sellers choice.
You can pay or not pay this is your choice.
Secret is, as always, do your research and then make an informed decision whether to go ahead and have the convenience of home delivery.
Only you know whether the purchase here is worth it compared to going to a B & M store.
The reasons for higher pricing could be anything, none of us know the circumstances of any particular seller and their costs involved for stock and re-selling.
You really have to weigh up the benefits (or not) of buying online as against the time and travel involved in shopping in a store.
Don't forget many of the Dept stores sell online now too, so you could still receive your product at a reasonable price.
Go where you get the best service - and the sellers who don't provide it will soon fade away or change their products.
Good Luck
