I just received a package from seller (a bunch of battery's) but they also included 5 flyers/pamphlets in the package for things like "cheap wine deals", discount "doordash" and "hello fresh" deals etc.
Is this allowed, can/should i report the user to ebay and can i expect seller to send me or sign me up to receive more junk mail?

I receive a lot of that stuff when I order from other companies but have to say, never has happened on ebay purchases (except for occasional promotional cards for that seller's items only or a discount voucher for any purchases from the seller's own shop).
It seems it is allowed but if you find it a turn off, you could message the seller and just state you didn't appreciate all the ads that were included with your purchase. You could mention it in feedback, not as in giving the seller a neg or anything but as a parting comment eg Really loved the item and quick postage but didn't love all the junk mail that came inside the package.
That's if it is really bothering you. Otherwise just toss it in the recycle bin.

I've just had the same thing...was it a Naked Wines $100 voucher?
Just throw them in the bin....

just toss them into the recycling bin.
I wouldn’t let such a think occupy my mind, let alone bother reporting them, just toss them.
If they send more promotional stuff just message them and ask them to stop.

There is no rule against including junk mail in parcels, there are more and more business's doing it.

Such things are metaphorical grist for my bokashi bin or compost tumbler.
I believe I’ve had such stuff in parcels where the seller uses a third party to pack and send. It’s not a problem; I’d only be upset if all I received were such promotional leaflets/brochures, and not my ordered item!
