Hi - received a refund (via Ebay) for a purchase (previous thread "Question onTracking").
But how do I now give feedback ? the sale has disapeared from my summary page & have searched through other sections with no success.
Thanks

To my mind Tippy, the option to leave any DSR's on postage time should be withdrawn as soon as tracking has been uploaded to the buyer via eBay, it couldn't be hard to do that automatically - and get rid of the so called "estimates" completely as an underhand way of penalising sellers.
I realise that wouldn't help sellers posting large letters, but at least it would be a start in the right direction.

It does, padi. provided there is a scan within the seller's handling time. I lodge over the counter...

I didn't realise that Dave, I thought DSR's could still be marked even if the tracking was uploaded, or are you talking about the ETA.

Tracking gets rid of the ETA. But you can still mark stars

Allegedly, if you upload tracking and have a valid scan within your handling time then the option for the buyer doesn't appear.
I've never been pinged doing it that way. Mind you, I've never been pinged for untracked large letters. Even to your neck of the woods.
Sorry - yes, they can mark down DSRs, but given it is the defects that are critical these days, I don't care what stars they give me. Mine are 5.0 on 3 of the criteria, but I've seen plenty here with several that are less than the supposed critical point of 4.6 who are still selling. And complaining about their buyers.

Maybe not all the time Dave and Stalks, this from a Japanese seller with the tracking uploaded - the ETA's still there as is the option to mark down DSR's for postage time...........................

But is there any tracking scan, or just the number?
I don't buy (at least through eBay) or sell internationally, so I have no idea how International postage works, re defects.

Yep, it has a tracking scan Dave that shows "in transit" even though I picked it up today.

All my overseas purchases that have had a valid tracking number still have the tick box question. I don't usually see it for tracked parcel sent from here. I say usually because occasionally it does appear even though the tracking showed as delivered.

The auto tracking blocking that question is only when ebay labels are used, I dont think even C & S auto blocks it.. However if a seller is monitoring their defects and questions it they can get ity manually removed.
Lowe DSRs dont become noticeable unless it becomes a regular trend
