Returning an item

The seller has decided to allow a return of a SNAD item and will send me a postage label.  The cover was packed tightly into a plastic envelope when I received it and I can't possibly get it back in,  it may have been vacuum packed.  Anyway what I'm asking is it ok to send it back in a carton that I have and it fits perfectly?

I should think so as it's new postage not a return to sender.

It will depend on how much the seller pays for postage.

If it arrived in a small satchel you may not be able to post it back in a box at the same price.

If your item packed into the carton is under the weight limit stated on the postage label then it will be fine.
